I dont think this is fair.. Can anyone please help?

okay, i have a question about my school.. Im a senior on the last semester of my high school career, and I have pretty much upheld good grades, and almost a perfect A average. Well, on Monday I was called up to the office and told that I was suspended out-of-school for ten days, and I would be given a tribunal within those ten days to try and prove my innocence. Well, there are two rules In the category of the rule book I may have broken. One is "Computer Trespass" and the other is "Computer Misuse" and I was filed under the first one, "Computer Trespass". Computer misuse yields a punishment that is far less severe and does not include expulsion. I strongly believe what I did was Misuse, however I do understand what I did was wrong, and could very well be "Computer Trespass". Ill explain exactly what I did, and what I used it for. I used the portable version of "Firefox", a free web browser, and went through a proxy into a server to bypass the firewall and get to "Facebook" (Yes, I know that now in retrospect it was remarkably stupid). They called me into the office and had some pictures as evidence of my school account going onto "Facebook.com" and they explained my punishment. I have two problems with this, one being that I might have been punished for the wrong rule (Thinking maybe i broke misuse as opposed to trespassing), and two being that I received a much harder punishment than others with the same issue. I will also explain that I hosted the "Firefox" with the proxy already set up on my web server available for anyone to download. Some of the other kids in the school began to catch wind of this, and began downloading the program. I use the program for other things outside of school as well, so I did not notice, and even if I had, what they choose to download is there issue. I am legally allowed to own and run this proxy and host this program, and I have checked with my hoster, as well as Mozilla, the creator of "Firefox". The other students who were caught with the same program were given one day of inn-school suspension and nothing else. I was given a report that stated I distributed the program to other students, which is not true, however even if it were, I cannot be held responsible for what others choose to download onto their school accounts. They found out that I was the owner of the proxy and expelled me when I technically did not commit anything more than the others, seeing as though running a proxy outside of school is 100% legal. So I believe if I am being expelled then that would mean the dozens of other students should be as well. I have already taken the initiative to e-mail my teachers and ask for work while on suspension and I have also e-mailed my principal hoping he could override the assistant principals decision. My teachers all have e-mailed me back and told me that they would talk to the principal to inform him that I am indeed a good student. My principal has not e-mailed me back yet, and it has been almost a week. I am running out of ideas of what to do. I was thinking of maybe getting my local news involved because my school is a "school of excellence" and any media disturbances would be devastating to their reputation. I am just really upset by this and I am trying to find a way to be allowed back in to finish my senior year. I would even be willing to help them fix holes in their network in exchange, or really anything. I truly am sorry for what I did, all I want is to finish school. Here is the actual report I got: "School tech. specialist discovered inappropriate programs in students folder. It was later determined that student was using program to bypass the school filters and all of the safety protocols. Student also shared the program with other individuals. OSS 10 days pending tribunal Feb. 18-March 3." Thank you for any help!
Answer: If you instructed other students in anyway(even if they asked and you responded) how to download it then you are technically at fault for the specific people that did it. It doesn't matter (in their eyes) that you aren't responsible for what they did with the proxy, you put the proverbial "gun" in their hand and told them how to use it. if you didn't tell anyone how to use the proxy then tell them to ask the other people where they learned about it. the best you can do is take responsibility and let them know that you want to take your share of responsibility for stupid web-browsing that could have waited until you got home -- BUT THAT'S ALL.

Soon-to-be college grad hopeless and needs help?

Im a senior at Rutgers University studying Economics with a current GPA of 3.9, a strong track record of academic excellence, involved in some school clubs related to my major as well as a member of various organizations that boast academic integrity in the fields of business and economics. Unfortunately I havent done any internships and have one semester left. Ive been looking and applying but have received zero responses and feeling worried about my future prospects. I know times are tough for recent college grads and that an employment crisis exists in this country, but Im having trouble just getting an internship. I feel Ive wasted my time on a degree thats getting me nowhere and that I should have majored in something else. Unfortunately its too late and Im not paying a dime more for college so I need to know what I can do with what I have now. I want to have at least one internship finished (preferably related to my major) by time I graduate. Where should I look and what steps should I take to increase my employment chances in the near future that already seem bleak. Please provide as much detail as you can and lay off the jokes. I was the first in my family to go to college and felt unprepared for all that I should have done during college. I need some advice Im losing my mind. Thanks
Answer: If you have not already done so, consider looking for jobs in Texas and in the row of states between Texas and North Dakota. That area is doing better economically than many other parts of the US, as you probably know. Best wishes.

Does the school I go to for my undergraduate degree matter when applying for graduate schools?

I am in quite a dilemma. I have always had my heart set on UW-Madison. However, I dont think Ill be able to afford it. So as an alternative, Ive started looking at some smaller UW schools and found out they were like 8,000 dollars cheaper and some even guaranteed scholarships to students who have shown academic excellence. So Ive been thinking that I could just attend Eau Claire or La Crosse and save oodles of money and then go to Madison for graduate school. However, Im worried that I wont be seen as competitive to Madison as a student who went to a bigger, more prestigious university for their undergraduate degree. Im also worried that my quality of education I would be getting at one of these smaller schools wont be as good as Madison. But again, Im not really sure how this all works. Any thoughts?
Answer: Sometimes smaller schools are ranked higher because of their ability to be more attentive to the students. So, don't think that just because you go with a smaller, lower cost school, that it means you are sacrificing a quality education...you may not be. Just be sure to look at each school's credentials, rankings, and standings. Also, before attending an undergraduate school, check into their accreditation. Make sure that the regional accreditation matches up with UW-Madison so that when you attempt to transfer into their graduate program, more of your credit hours will transfer (that way, you don't have to complete courses you've already completed through another school before entering the graduate program). This can be done by checking with Madison to find out what accreditations they accept during transfer...but I suggest you do this early, as in before you start your undergraduate studies to make sure you don't choose a school that won't fit within Madison's graduate program.

Transfering Schools Sophomore Year in High School?

I currently attend an okay high school and I was wondering what your opinions were on transfering for my sophomore year. The school I attend has pretty poor teachers, and some pretty bad kids. I feel like I am being influenced in the wrong direction and feel the best thing to do in all aspects is to switch schools. I want to switch from a large public school to a smaller Catholic traditional high school know for academic excellence and amazing students. I feel that I would fit in more with the kids from this school based on my background. I know a few kids at the school, but only a few, and I hear catholic school is the hardest to make friends at(stereotype?). I am pretty shy and quiet, and I am also looking for some tips to making things easier if I do switch. Im not quiet all the time, I just have to get to know people to become outgoing-which i know is a huge social downfall. Any tips? Should I switch? Any help Please! Thank you!
Answer: I say go for it! If the teachers at your current school are that bad, why waste the rest of your high school career? If you plan on attending college, you want to be prepared, right? Also, if you know that the influences in your current school are likely to affect your choices, then I commend you for looking for a solution now. BUT don't think that a Catholic school will be free of any bad influences. Christians are people too, and just as capable of making some big mistakes. So basically I am reading three separate problems here: changing schools, keeping yourself in line, & shyness.[Some of this reminds me of me--I attended a very small Catholic school from kindergarten through 7th grade, a very large public school from 8-10, and a small public school for my junior and senior years. I had to change schools, because my family moved.] As for the school situation--I said go for it. If your family can afford for you to attend private school and supports you in doing so, then give it a shot. But make sure you are doing it for the right reasons. Do your research (it sounds like you have already started); make sure the Catholic teachers really are better, and that the classes offered are what you are looking for. Sometimes smaller schools are not able to offer a wide variety of classes, or may not offer different levels of classes. But for the most part, smaller schools allow each student more room to work at his/her own pace and offer additional individual help or individual challenges. My Catholic school set up a special class for me and three other students they considered "gifted," so that we could work at a higher level than the rest of our grade. The 'very large public school' I attended had five levels for each class, and everyone enrolled in each class at whatever level suited them. If you were gifted in math, but not English, then you could enroll in Honors math and Average English. The small public school offered very few classes that I hadn't already taken, and I really feel like I wasted my last two years of high school--except for getting into debate/forensics my senior year. This is why I would favor you changing schools for academic reasons, if your family supports it, so that you don't waste three years of school. But like I said, don't think that changing to a Catholic school will necessarily keep you out of trouble. There will be "bad kids" there, too. And, in general, you can't rely on your peers to keep you in line. If you want to avoid making life-altering BAD decisions, then you need to set your priorities and keep to them. Decide what's important to you now, before you get into a situation that will force you to decide. It will help you if you write them down and find someone to share them with--either a good friend, your parents, or an authority with strong moral character. Ask this person to help you to stay focused on these priorities and to check on you to make sure you're sticking too them. A lot of people call this an accountability partner--someone interested in helping you succeed at your goals. You should do this whether you change schools or not. If you can remember "Oh, yeah, I don't want to screw up that way," it will be easier to say "no" to the 'bad kids.' As for being shy--I think it's actually easier to make friends in a smaller school. I was never especially outgoing around new people, either. In the Catholic school, I knew everyone by name (in every grade) and was quite comfortable being myself. I'm not sure where you've heard that it's hard to make friends in a Catholic school? If the classes are smaller, and you share more classes with the same people, it would actually be easier to make friends, especially if you already know a couple of people. They can introduce you around. When I moved to the BIG school, it took a looooong time to make friends. I really don't think it is "a huge social downfall" to be quiet until you're comfortable with people. I'm like that--very reserved, until you get to know me; then I'm rather loud and obnoxious. I may not be the most popular person on campus, but at least I know I can trust the friends I've got. I know it sounds cheesy, but it really is the quality of your friends that counts, not the quantity. But while you're looking for those quality friends, some things that helped me were actually saying "Hi" to people [or a question is always a good ice breaker: "Do you know where this room is?" "What kinds of things do you do for fun around here?" "Do you know anything about this teacher?" "Who designed these uniforms?"] and realizing that I'm not so weird that no one else shares my interests. So if some people don't like the things I like, so what!? I'll just keep trying until I find someone that does. Try not to take it personally if some snob is rude to you. Not everybody is going to like you, but that's okay, not everybody is going to hate you either.

I certainly appreciate your honesty, However I think you took it the wrong way. I DO know I did something wrong, I just dont believe it was any worse than any of the other kids, and I dont believe I should receive the same punishment as someone who deals crack. I would just take my punishment, but the punishment is being removed form school, I dont know how else to show them i am truly remorseful and i would undoubtably accept a punishment, all i want is to be able to go back to school.
Answer: It's evident that you really are weaseling on this. You are trying to rationalize your behavior... it wasn't so bad, I just did what other kids did, it really was legal, I'm going to get them for this, blah, blah, blah. Don't you get how totally immature that all sounds? You need to take an adult attitude towards this. If you can't do the time, don't do the crime. You did it, take your medicine and make sure everyone knows that you are truly remorseful. Suppose someone recognizes you on Yahoo and turns this post in to the school. It will make it 10 times worse. You are right, this was incredibly stupid, and you are making it worse.

Allegations of Exam-Tampering Soar

Complaints of tampering with state Regents exams have ballooned since Mayor Michael R. How Do American Citizens Benefit by Having Najibullah Zazi Around?

Well, I should ask a prior question first. Would it make sense for a country to be organized around the concept of doing things that benefit its own citizens, and refraining from doing things that do not benefit its own citizens and are potentially quite harmful, in fact lethal to innocent random people? If the answer to this propaideutic question is "no, that would not make sense" please read no further. Please dont bother to respond to this question. You will be blocked, for sure. If you say, "Yes that makes sense, nations are organized to benefit their citizens, see Leviathan, see Second Treatise on Government." Then please, gentle reader, proceed and answer with your best excellence. The standard answer that is often given is that the moment we depart from an "All Immigrants Welcome" society and an "Open Society" we lose our core values and the whole Democratic Republic goes down the drain. So, lets address that. Does the Constitution go away? Where in the Constitution does it say that anybody other than the President of the U.S. has the authority to invite foreigners of any kind to visit or reside in USA?" Nowhere? So I thought. So this is a discretionary decision to allow persons such as Najibullah Zazi to be here right? Is the discretion being exercised intelligently? Well, it does set up some very costly hide and seek games, right? Who pays for those? The taxpayers right? Is there any better way they could spend their money instead of paying for cat and mouse games with guys that want to blow something up? How about paying down the national debt? Or building some schools, or lowering taxes on the working families? Is that a better way to deploy taxpayer funds, or is it better to chase Zazi around 24/7 with 50 FBI agents? If these guys dont need to be here -- if we as a nation are not going to lose our way, our mind, or our soul by sending them away, then why dont we? Moslems who are not citizens, and who go to Pakistan to visit, should stay there, not come back. All moslems except credentialed ambassadors, who are not citizens, should be expelled, not because we know they are bad, but because we know they are just too costly to watch 24/7 with 50 FBI agents to make sure they dont kill any Americans. This is called the idea of doing things that benefit ones own country. We agreed on that at the start right? This is not an idea that is so wierd and outlandish that you are having to cope with it here and now for the very first time, right? Well, actually, given the state of our education system -- you may very well be considering this idea for the very first time -- teachers being the moronic socialist drones that they are. Anyhow, the President could order the removal of all non-citizens except ambassadors tommorrow morning at 8:00 a.m. They, dont get hearings, they dont get convictions, they just get plane tickets. They are here at our sufferance. And we should suffer them no more! Jimmy: What planet have you been living on for the past 10 years? Is it this one? Is it fair to compare Moslems to Italians, or Irish, or people from Luxembourg? Am I guilty of profiling if I pick them out as worthy of being repatriated back to where they came from? Is everything equal to everything? Are all people the same? If so, why are 90% of terrorists Moslems Why not more Luxembourgers in the mix? Youve been living up on Uranus right? FOR EMMA: TWO POINTS 1) YOU SAY "THEY OR THEIR PARENTS MOVED FOR A BETTER STANDARD OF LIVING AND THEY HAVE A RIGHT TO DO THAT". MY ANSWER: NO NON-CITIZEN HAS A RIGHT TO BE IN USA UNLESS THE PRESIDENT SAYS THEY DO. AMBASSADORS ARE THE EXCEPTION. THEY HAVE A RIGHT UNTIL THEY ARE DECLARED PERSONA NON GRATA. YOUR VIEW MAY BE TRUE IN THE EUROPEAN UNION, AND IN CANADA. I AM NOT A LAWYER IN THOSE PLACES. BUT IN USA, NO SUCH "RIGHT" EXISTS. THEY ARE HERE AT OUR SUFFERANCE. IF WE, THROUGH OUR PRESIDENT, SAY "NO" THEN THEY ARE GONE. 2) YOU SAY NOT ALL MUSLIMS NEED TO BE SENT TO THEIR COUNTRY OF ORIGIN. WELL, IF YOU WOULD JUST TELL ME WHICH ONES ARE THE BOMB-BUILDERS (WHICH I AGREE IS LESS THAN 1%) THEN I WOULD BE HAPPY TO LET ALL THE NON-BOMB-BUILDERS STAY. IN THE MEANTIME THE FBI HAS TO WATCH ALL OF THEM, AT GREAT COST. PLEASE EMMA TRY TO SEE THAT ITS INNOCENT LIVES I SEEK TO SAVE HERE. I HAVE ACTUALLY BEEN A MACHINE GUN TOTING NAVAL OFFICER. CAN PEOPLE TODAY "HANDLE THE TRUTH"
Answer: Ok, well I starred your question because you had no anwers but I didnt really understand it and I didnt know who Najibullah Zazi was... Now that I read your question and googled Zazi, I have to say I agree with Jimmy Jazz. There are indeed many decent muslims not only in America, but in the western Europe as well, and they have every right to be there. They, or their parents, moved for a better standard of living and they have a right to that. The western world should be the civilised world where you can have the freedom to believe in any religion you want without being send back to your country...! Not everyone that believes in Islam is a terrorist... You shouldn't discriminate against muslims... The real threat to US citizens is their own government.... or at least it was. Let's see if Obama can change things... 90% of the terrorists are Muslims? Did you make sure to count George W Bush as a terrorist too? he's the worst of them all! even if that figure is correct, still doesn't mean that all muslims have to be send to their country of origin. And all people should be treated and considered the same regardless of their religion.

which college? PBA? Asuza? Biola? Any help?

So Im thinking about going away to a christian college and need some advice. Im currently attending a community college in chicago, this is my first year though, so I would be applying as a transfer student. Recently I have been pushed to pursue a degree somewhere in religion, and Ive been thinking about it and have become really interested. So I started looking into some schools including, Baylor, Biola, PBA, Asuza. I have interest in all of them, but Im just not sure which I should really try for, and if there are other schools that I dont know about. So let me start off with what im looking for... -If I go away, one of the MAJOR reasons would be to be able to leave chicagos weather behind for a few years and go somewhere where the weather is beautiful. Thats got me really looking into Palm Beach. I really want to be somewhere where the weather is gorgeous year round and I can usually always walk around in a wife beater and some shorts. -My specific passion is with the youth. Are there any christian schools that are known specifically for their excellence in this area? Just curious because it seems like almost all offer a degree in that area, but I havent found any site that ranks them according to their strength in youth. -Social life. Anywhere I would go I would like to be fun, and I would like there to be LOTS of ways to meet new people. Now since Im christian, my ideas of funarentt necessarily skanky clubs, or getting drunk at the bars. Im talking about lots of different stuff to do, different events going on, students into supporting the sports team specificallyy basketball). In general, just a wide variety of activities to do so I dont get bored and that allows me to constantly see new faces and stuff. The last thing I would want is to get stuck being bored in a dorm for a few years to come. This is another reason Im interested in PBA, I heard downtown is not too far. -How strict is everything? I have no idea how strict these christian schools are. Now I dont believe in getting drunk or anything, but I cant lie, Ill be a little bummed if there is no wheravailablebe for me to grab a beer and watch my Nuggets play every now and then lol. So not to sound arrogant, but for anyone who has gone to any or heard of any examples of harsh rules, I would like to know. So basically thats what Im looking for. I really want whatever college I go to to be more than just for academics, but somewhere i can really enjoy and be happy about, and always remember. I dont know why, but I feel strongly pushed to keep checking into Biola. However, Palm Beach is still looking really attractive with its wheather. Any other schools to look into in Florida or wherever the wheather is nice is still appreciated. Thx to all...
Answer: I live in Cali and im thinking of transferring to Biola next semester. Biola is a great college. First of all it is in SoCal, so the weather is great all year round. They have a Christian Ministries major, with a youth emphasis which is probably what you'd be looking for. I don't know about that major specifically, but I know there academics overall are very well. They are one of the best christian universities as far as academics go. Biola has a great campus community. Most students live on campus. I have gone there just to hang out with people because pretty much everyone I've meet there has been really fun. The social life is really good. There are also plenty of things to do around campus. The campus is really support of sports teams and they have Intramural sports if you want to play for fun. Im not sure how strict there policies are for living on campus? So, I have looked into alot of christian colleges and Biola is my #1 choice. My sister went to Azusa for a year and she hated it, it was really hard to connect with people there even though she lived on campus. If you did want to stay in Chicago, Moody Bible Institute is a great choice.

Good start on 8th grade english?

We have to write about if our education is important to us. He takes points of for every error, if you leave out an , or . or ; you lose 2 points. I need to get a good grade on this so I can continue after school things like school soccer, football, and student council. This is my essay: “Education is the result produced by instruction, training, or study” is how Dictionary.com defines education. However, I define it differently. Education, to me, is what makes or breaks my future. If I fail now, how can I expect to succeed in the future? My education is one of the most important things to me. Without a good education, I cannot get a good job. Without a good job, how am I supposed to provide for my family, for a nice life? In my future, I see a nice little family, a nice little house, and a nice, important job. I also see myself going to a good college. Although I cannot know that these goals will be met, I can work towards them. Without an education, I cannot achieve any of the goals I have set. When I grow up, I hope to have an important job; I want to do something in the field of law. Someone in law and order needs to be able to think on their feet, and that means having a good education. If I had a poor education and did not work hard in school then I could not succeed in this field. Very few jobs do not require knowledge. Even flipping burgers requires some knowledge. Becoming something in law is a bigger goal to me then going to a good college, but that goal is a necessary step for me to achieve my biggest goal. Going to a good college is one of my most immediate goals; all the others are more long-term. Some colleges I might look into are UMASS Amherst, Boston College, and the college of Charleston. To get into any of these, I need good grades in high school and middle school. Most importantly, I need to score high on my SATs. To do any of this, I need a great education. It is very important to me that I go to college and graduate with high marks. In some places, my age do not get a good education, some do not even go to school. I am aware of the great opportunity I have, and all the great opportunities awaiting me ahead. I know I have to use this opportunity to its full extent, milk it for all its got. In some places like some areas of Africa the children have no schooling what so ever. But I do and I need to use my education. People who say their education is important do not understand why they’re wrong, unless they’re rich and have no reason to learn. Without some form of education you most likely fail in most of what you do. Looking forward to my future makes me aware of everything I do. If I do something wrong now that could jeopardize my future. If I fail in school now it could jeopardize my future college choices. When I get a bad grade I do not just shake it off like some kids, I work towards excellence. For the last two years I have made honors and had A’s and B’s on all my report cards. When I see grades less than that, I get disappointed, and work hard. Some kids do not care and I do not understand that. They do not realize that they’re future depends on now. it has to have 750 words this is only 553 its not done yet
Answer: Start out with " A dictionary defines education as 'the result produced by instruction, training, or study." Also, you overuse the words good and great. Try to reword things so that you don't say good education more than one or two times in a paragraph, as it is repetetive. Sentence corrections: In some places, PEOPLE my age do not get a good education, AND some do not even go to school. college of Charleston should be College of Charleston In some places, like in some areas in Africa, the children have no schooling WHATSOEVER. THIS IS WHY I NEED TO CONTINUE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF my education. People who say their education IS NOT important do not understand why they are wrong [omit: "unless they're rich and have no reason to learn" as it does not make any sense contextually, and has no evidence to support it] Without some form of education, failure is likely. IT MAKES ME CAUTIOUS ABOUT ANYTHING I DO NOW that could jeopardize my future. [your original sentence was not actually a sentence] FOR INSTANCE, if I fail in school now it could jeopardize my future college choices. When I get a bad grade I do not just shake it off like some kids. I work towards excellence. When I see grades LOWER THAN THESE, I am disappointed in myself and work harder. They do not realize that they're future depends on THEIR ACTIONS now. Hope I was able to help. Overall it was good, just a few mistakes. I tried to fix most of the grammatical and stylistic errors.

Help Im going to public school next year as a sophomore and I want my best friend to go to!!!?

Okay so heres the story Ive been Homeschooled my entire life, and this next year Im going into high school as a sophomore ( the high school Ill go to, you go to as a sophomore instead of a freshman like every other school. Any tips from your experiences their. Be honest and dont worry about scaring me, my minds made up. Anyway thats not the problem the problem is I want my best friend to go to( shes also in my grade) she was public schooled up till 3rd grade she got out for several reasons one because when she rode the school bus each morning some of the boys on the bus would tease her asking her if she wanted to have sex with them and just being really rude and stupid. And Im sure their were other factors to. And when I asked her if she wanted to go she was really considering it. Her mom told her she would have to make a decision soon because if she doesnt go in tenth grade she wouldnt have enough credits to graduate high school( our high school you have to have 23/1/2 credits to graduate and if you go to high school like in tenth eleventh or twelfth grade any extra courses you might have taken while homeschooled they dont cant) But heres the problem her brother ( also homeschooled and used to go to school) is so effing protecting of her he said well the school that were going to has the highest rape count in the world and that and everyone has STDs and blah blah blah( in case you havent caught on hes the biggest Drama Queen in the world, I dont think Ive met a woman that matches up to him) which doesnt make since to me since the school Im going to is top in academic excellence in our state yea we have a high pregnancy rate but like thats not rape. I asked him one day why my BFF doesnt want to go and he said that if he had anything to do with it he would let my BFF go over his dead body and hes only 17 hes makes all her decisions for her like hes her parent for Christs sake. And I feel like her decision was her brothers decision for her and she doesnt want to get something started. And thats also because she has really low self confidence and shes still figuring out herself. Sometimes I want to just knock her brother out!!!! And her little sister is going to school for the first time in her life next year and shell only be in 7th grade. HELP me convince her to try something different, stand up for herself, and forget about the past and move on!
Answer: ok there might be little you can do for your friend because she might stop talking to you even though you mean the best for her. i think that once you go to public school, and you start making friends and going out on weekends and things like that and when you are not hanging out with her as much, i think that she will open up to the idea of public school. i am sure you know about what to do and not to do at public gatherings like parties and other gatherings. if you ask her when she is not around her brother why she really does not want to go to public school, she might open up, but she might just close up even more, that is when you can say something like "come on, we are friends, best friends, you know you can tell me anything", then if she says no after that, you can just say, "okay, well i already made up my mind and i am going to public school, and though i wish you would come with me, i will not push you to do something that you do not want to." keep in mind that you two should still be friends. i hope this helps and good luck, and have yourself some fun because if you do right, i know you will. good luck

Answer: Omg, I am so sorry for you :( I really don't know what to tell you, maybe getting the local news is a good idea... Did your parents try to talk to the principal? On the other hand, I want to tell you my honest opinion about schools in the US, since I'm european. It pisses me off when I see they care about stupid things like getting on Facebook and they like to make such a big deal about it! I mean, I'm not saying they can't punish you for doing that, but my god...10 days and tribunal? are they out of their minds? I really really feel bad for you and I hope you'll solve this somehow, maybe someone who's lived here forever knows how to deal with this! Good luck, I'm a senior too.

Could somebody please mark this writing to argue essay?

I would be very gratefull if somebody could read through this and predict me a grade :D Write an essay in which you argue either for or against teenagers being allowed to have T.Vs in their bedrooms. For many years now, T.V sets have become a familiar sight in out children’s bedrooms and there presence has provoked a great deal of criticism from many different people. Where some argue that they are an excellent form of entertainment, others; including myself, claim that they have took the world by storm, shredding people’s attention spans and obliterating imagination. During the present day, the average T.V set, costs in the region of £300-£500. Personally I think this is absurd. Why must parents pay such ludicrous sums of money to acquire these? They simply dull the mind and destroy all thought. However, in contrast to this, many people; particularly teenagers, maintain that they are simply just a way to escape the monotony of every day life. However, is this the only form of entertainment? Is there not a whole world of opportunities, just meters away from the box that has captured there intelligence? In recent years, teenagers have become far more reclusive and no longer wish to explore the beautiful world surrounding them. Shocking isn’t it? I’m sure that you’ll agree that the days of playing football and meeting up with friends is truly behind us. Although some parents may be pleased to know there children are safe, in their rooms, others; especially people who are outgoing themselves, believe that their children are missing out on essential experiences, that would will teach them life lessons and build character. School; it’s an essential aspect of every teenagers life and is fundamental to success in future careers. Sadly, for some people; many of whom that are less academically gifted, fail to see its importance would be far more inclined to catch the last five minutes of Eastenders. This is not acceptable! Surely, any self respecting parent will agree that can no longer stand idly by and watch there children waste the life. Alternatively, it is argued that some shows, are beneficial to academic achievement. But is it really? Sure, shows such as “The apprentice” may pass some knowledge to teenagers regarding business and economics. But is it worth it? Is it on the syllabus? And wouldn’t it be far more affective to acquire this knowledge through text books? In conclusion, I feel that it is indispensable that T.Vs are removed immediately from the rooms of our children, or perhaps simply put aside to be used as a form of reward for academic excellence. If these measurement are not met, it may become evident that your child has failed to obtain acceptable GCSE grades. In addition to this, we all that there is more to life that school. But for some teenagers, they fail to see anything other than the pixel populated screen infront of them.
Answer: i would give it a B because your thesis is right and wrong. In this case you mention things like being less explorative, they are expensive, and damage their school life. In your thesis which i think is this one= "including myself, claim that they have took the world by storm, shredding people’s attention spans and obliterating imagination" talk about shredding imagination and shortening attention spans. You have good view points, but when you talk about school a little evidence would definitely improve it level of persuasion, also the third paragraph is really biased and what would help is some data. So you need a different thesis, and some facts (even for the first paragraph be like in sears or walmart a set costs this much), and some gramar mistakes like idk wth is GCSE really i dont know.

Church of God, Sabbath Day - Is There Really a Hell Fire? by ...

Is There Really a Hell Fire? by . Ronald L. Dart. Is there really an everburning hell where sinners are tormented with fire and brimstone throughout all eternity?

Does he know I love him?

Long story - Ill make it short. Try. It started in ohh the end of September. We have this thing called BEST Day in our school ( building excellence in our schools together). There is a male teacher that i like a bit more than all my others. He is 25 years old... 10 and a half years older than me. I am very mature for my age...so everyone tells me..... and so we can easily hold a conversation that doesnt have annything to do with music, gangsters, or sports. Not that there is anything wrong with that. So he is a basketball coach and i am a cheerleader. Im just giving you the basic info by the way and sorry im not good with writing - its always my weakest point in testing. I am a near straight a student and have never and i mean never gotten into trouble before in my life. Now lets get to the story... During best day we have community service in the morning which i love, then we have games that build onto our teamwork and social skills ( I HATE and lack both of them), then we have a dance, go out to an arcade, go to the pool etc. The first game was horrible about 10 classmates and i were being overseen by a teacher who i didnt know and geuss who did most of the work.... Geuss...Just take a geuss. Thats right! me. : ) ( sorry everyone but i get sarcastic when mad). So we get onto the trash talking about and to me where the teacher hardly notices or just doesnt care. eventually after being called a "wh..." and a "sl.." and around 4 other and worse things that could get me banned on here, I broke down. my classmates make a point that when someon like me who gets a lot of stuff right gets something wrong, they mock you and treat you like dirt. I grew up being a daddys girl and a mommys angel and was taught to be as nice as possible.so i naturally thought everyone else was like that. i learned the hard way. after the first game we went to another room. i had calmed down some but not entirely. i quickly applied more make up and brought back my mask in which all my teachers and the adults around me saw. i looked okay... after another half an hour of being subjected to torment and not breaking down i made a mistake on the puzzle and the teacher i liked said it was ok everyone makes mistakes, when he saw the look on my face. wow look at that! the insults got worse and eventually my teacher let me sit next to him and thats when it happened. he put his arm on my shoulder and one of the students called me his "f" toy. To his face. needless to say i saw the detentions coming. i broke down and he pulled two tissues out of his pocket and handed them to me. he let everyone leave to the third level of hell as i called it and closed and locket the door. now think how i felt. the teacher i liked just had everyone leave and closed and locked the door. we were the only ones in the room and my back was to the wall farthes from the door. he came over to me and put his arms around me and gave me a very quick hug and asked if i was alright. i just gave him a look and he said alright your not alright whats wrong. and i said nothing, pulled out of his grasp and headed for the door when he pulled me back. he said that he was here fro me and that he wanted me to come to him if something was wrong. i said ok and went to the door again. he said to go to the bathroom and fix my makeup " no offence but you look a wreck" at which i said thanks mr. ......... (Im leaving names out since i know some of my friends go on here). third level of hell i realized i forgot my jacket. joy. i knock on the still locked door and he lets me in where i say i forgot my jaket. he gets it for me and even helps me put it on. i say good bye and leave..... that was late sept. i have had many things like that hapen to me all year. i walk out of the school with him everyday and we talk and sometimes my close guy friend comes along. he is always asking me if im alright and if i need him to stay after school with me. one day i had to leavce that cvlass early to ask another teacher about work i missed bcause aof a football game. he said "(my name) i dont know how i am supposed to teach this class without you! you are the life of this class and you know what? Im just going to wait util you get back. and tell mr. .......... that he is disrupting my class by taking away my special student." *wink*. i said ok i will and put on my cheerleading smile. i got the stuff i missed and came back with the message " tell him i know where he eats" my teacher laughed and thought it was very funny. not before putting his arm on my shoulders and leaning in close to me and said talk to me after class. i was scared and my fear was evident on my face. After class he asked me why i try to act so grown up one minute and very irresponsible the next. I asked what are you talking about and he said you know you....... I what?......ummm... no he looked embarassed and disappointed all at once. it turns out that when i gave my guy friend a hug earlier, it was long i was upset trying t ive caught him staring at my chest. when we were playing silent ball he threw the ball hit me in the chest it bounced off & i quickly caught it.mychest fell half way out of my shirtand myguyfriendwatchmy teacher as i ran to the bathroom. his eyes got wide, blushed looked panic & sat down at desk. i would trust my guy friend with my life. my teacher was turned on by mehe gets to see a bit of me personally because my skirt is too short.he goes out of his way for me, brings me water while im cheering, gives me time on tests.my crush has gottenbigger most girls say wowheshot!no. i love his smile. the way it goes uphigher on left & his vibrant blue eyes & how his shirt always matches his eyes. he has a look in his eyes when he laughs at my joke know what car he drives i know what food he likes. he has black lab named knox & a voyager phone & a little sister. i know almost everything.buthis wife knows more. I love his personality&looks.&ithinkhereturnssomefeeling Please help. I love him. I know. bad grammar, spelling, skipped spaces. I get it. I ran out of room though ok? I know he is older.. too old but i want these feelings gone and i dont watnt any extra attention from him. teachers in my school generally dont care about us unless we are seriously injured or dying. yep. Continuation of original Question!!!!! I gave my friend a one armed hug and one are was dangling down...from where my teacher was it looked like i was ahem....touching him. and it gets worse..... he had a "reaction" when i walked away. my teacher thought i was "too innocent and way to sweet of a girl" to being doing "such bad things with boys" and that i should stop immediatly or he would intervene.
Answer: im really sorry to have to say this but he is way too old for u guys of a certain age look for other things in a relationship wen we get down to no matter how mature u think u are, ur only a child, he's either being really inappropriate or just friendly and caring like a teacher should.... its never gonna happen u just have a school girl crush because he's looking out for u, i had one of those before wen i was in school, there's a line there that he will never cross
