His life was taken Friday night when investigators say a drunk driver caused a deadly crash. His closest friends and fellow softball enthusiasts are organizing a fundraiser this weekend...a softball tournament. "He was respected and loved all the way around and this is going to be a great opportunity to remember him and to help his family," said Young. Friends say helping his family was something Bohr did almost daily. They say he worked hard so that help his parents financially. "To be 23 years old and to support his family in any way he can says a lot for his character," said Young. Southampton Town Police said they pulled over a vehicle at Vail Avenue and Flanders Road in Riverside for defective lighting and a cracked windshield at about 11:30 p.m. Saturday night. Police said they determined the operator of the vehicle, Milo Batzin-Zet, 33, of Flanders, was in an intoxicated condition. Batzin-Zet was taken into custody and brought to police headquarters, where he submitted to a a chemical breath test that yielded a blood alcohol content of .13 percent, according to police. Yesterday(11:30 pm et) I was a jam I was invited to where there was drinking and dancing. I do not drink because I know the effect on the liver and I am underage(16). The captain of the football team had 6 beers and 2 shots and he decided to leave early. I followed him to his truck and told him not to drink and drive and I even offered him a ride home but he pushed down to the ground(he is 62 200lbs so I fell). He got in his truck and started driving and I followed him in my car and called 911 and told them where he was. The police caught up to him and he was arrested. When I got home at 12:00 am(today) I have over 20 wallposts on facebook saying "snake" snitch" "fuc(/er and other things. I also might get beat up after spring break for calling the police on him. Am I a snitch? He could have killed someone. Should I have just left it alone?
Answer: They will call you a snitch, and probably give you a very hard time. And to answer your question, in their minds, you are a snitch, but honestly, you did the right thing. It probably won't feel like it, but you made the right move. If he was so rude even after you offered him a ride home, he deserved it. It's better for him to be in jail then six feet under. Save any threats that you get, and if things feel like they're getting out of hand, go to the police about it. It will pass eventually, and if not, there are other options. Switch schools if you must, but know in your mind that you're a responsible person, and that you did the right thing.

How can your BAC be .057 after not drinking for 11 days and not being a chronic alcoholic?

I was arrested on February 18th for drunk driving (in a parked car.) My blood alcohol content was .057, but I had not drank since Superbowl Sunday. Go Saints! I am not an alcoholic and never have been. Certainly, alcohol doesnt stay in ones system that long. Any ideas how this is possible? Also, any ideas how to beat the charges since I was neither drunk nor driving would be GREATLY appreciated!

Right here goes Me and my fella have been together for 8 months now and live in seperate towns. So on Christmas day my fella promised to come see me to open pressies and meet my family etc.. he never turned up. I called him at 11.45pm to see where he was and got upset with him for not turnin up as promised...he then switched his phone off makin it impossible for me to talk to him. My brother got arrested in florida?

On monday my brother went to take some training for a new job and at night he got arrested for drunk driving (dwi), the bail is 850 dls. we dont have that kind of money to take him out, his trial is on 05/11/10 what will happe n to him if we cant pay, will he have to stay more time after his trial or does that depend on the judge, I think this is his 2nd. dwi im not sure, also were from texas so he flew to florida, will that also affect the trial somehow. Also the whole charges were for 7,550, what will happen how does he pay that in payments or if he doesnt have that money at trial, will he spend more time in jail ?
Answer: so if he flew to florida then he popped hot for DWI whilst driving a rental car.......... if you do not pay the bail then he sits there till he comes up to trial which is a short time away, when he goes to trial then he will either be found guilty or not [moot point if they already have him locked up for it] and he will pay the fines and move on till the next time he gets caught, mind you the next time it might be for mowing down a group of people as this is NOT the first time [you are not sure] that he drove drunk. As some one that lives in florida they really do NOT like you doing this and tend to be complete prigs about it, suggest you start saving.........also he can pretty much kiss the job good bye as well.

UTICA, Mich. (WJBK) - An Oakland County man has been busted for his third DUI. This time, he had his girlfriend and young child in the car. 35-year-old Juan Carlos Banoschavez may be deported back to El Salvador after Utica Police arrested the illegal immigrant for drunk driving. According to the state, the third time over the last ten years. Motorists first alerted Utica Police Monday night when they saw a man driving a Jeep Cherokee eastbound in the westbound lanes of Hall Road. Dash cam video captured officers as they started their pursuit. They spotted him at M-59 and Van Dyke. The images show Banoschavez driving the wrong way on a one way street. When police pulled him over, they discovered he was not alone. His girlfriend and one-year-old son were also in the vehicle. "Hes a good guy, and its not like he drives all the time. This was an emergency," said Shirley Munez, the suspects girlfriend. She claims their son had a 105 degree fever and they needed to rush him to the hospital. "He had a drink like around 4:00 p.m. and then my son woke up crying around midnight," Munez said. "Im told him we had to take him to the emergency room, and on our way back we got lost and we ended up going to wrong way and we got pulled over." It appears Banoschavez had more than one drink. The video shows him failing his sobriety test, and police say he had a blood alcohol level of 0.12. Banoschavez has been arrested and charged with operating a vehicle under the influence and drunk driving was a passenger under the age of 16. Banoschavezs license had already been revoked because of his previous drunk driving arrests. Even if he posts bond, FOX 2 has learned he will be handed over to U.S. Immigration officials, and theres a good chance he will be deported. "Its tearing me apart," said Munez. "I couldnt just let my son just be sick. He was carrying a high fever and turns out he has influenza."
