When I began my autobiography, I asked a few people who were close to me to write a few sentences about me. I told them I would not edit what they wrote or respond to ...
opinions or if i should edit anything at all?
ok i wrote this first and second half section of my first chapter like about three days ago and i havent gotten back to it since im busy with school and such so can you guys tell me your opinions or if i should edit anything? thanks! =)(ps. this has nothing to do with a vampire or werewolf!)
Underneath the small border between Pittsburg and New Kensington lies a small town called, Penn Hills. The city in which I particularly grew up in for almost my whole life. My Mother and Papa both were murdered when I was only four years old. You see, my parents were both named Mortimer and Jenna, and my oldest sister to whom I forgot to mention named Anna-Lee was also killed.
It all happened eleven years ago, I was on my way back to our small humble home when all of a sudden smoke started to fog around us and the carriage. I gazed around my bright blue eyes were starting to turn glassy my hair pins came out and landed on the floor my side bangs then fell and covered my left eye, I quickly opened the door and held my pearly yellow dress and ran into the woods where no one could find me. I looked around and saw my home smoke continued to fog up my vision I ran again and once I hit the first step someone caught me and picked me up and ran to the apple tree that was right in front of the French room window.
He sat me down and looked at me, his face was pale as a ghost and his eyes were bright green with a little twinkle in them. His hair was pale blonde and his face looked very stern and serious. I looked up at him and back at the house and then back at him, soon enough I felt my jaw drop and he quickly vanished into the woods.
I ran my fingers through my shoulder length caramel brown hair. I got back up and walked over to our slave Amanda. I looked at her and saw tears running down her eyes. I did the same. She held me close to her side and prayed with me to god that this wouldn’t happen again… hopefully.
“Ms. Amelia, you must come with me to get the police… you may not understand, but your parents and sister are gone.” she said gently grabbing my hand and walking me towards the police port. As we walked inside she explained to them what had happened and none of them had believed her, but I have.
A few years later right after my fifteenth birthday and after Amanda’s death I was sent to a court hearing and still it was a true mystery on how my parents and older sister died.
“Case number 23421, all rise for the honorable Judge Cyrus.” the bailiff said in a broad and loud voice.
“Alright sit down please and we are here for the guardianship of Ms. Amelia Jacobs.” he yelled so everyone in the court room could hear. My aunt, uncle and three little cousins were in the podium sitting and listening to every word the Judge had to say.
“Ms. Amelia, do you have any concerns or question’s regarding on who or what may have caused this?” he looked at me and his dark browns sunk into me, I did know what had happened but I was to afraid of telling. So all I did was shake my head and say, “No.” I said quietly at a monotone.
He then straightened himself out. And then picked up the gavel and raised it above his head. He pounded it on the pad and dismissed the courtroom, I stood there for the next 5 minutes staring at the rough dark brown wood at the podium. I flashed back at the scene I had saw when I was 4 years old. I then snapped out of it by my uncle who was tapping me on my shoulder and trying to see if I was alright.
“Amelia… dear, are you alright?” he asked bending down on one knee.
“Yes Uncle Thomas, I am quite fine.” I said and my head started to spin around in circles as he helped me out of the room and outside to the beautiful sounds and sights of the night.
Later on that night, I sat there in the carriage with my uncle, aunt and cousins.
and also, I have posted this question before and they said they liked it but i have to tell more about her.... But I still want some more opinions....
Answer: I don't have to read this to answer your question. Writing is more about editing than it is about writing it in the first place. No matter how many times you rewrite it, change it, tweak it, and fix it, you will always be able to improve it by editing it even more. Instead of asking online, where most of the answers you get will be from 10-13 year olds whose literary experience doesn't reach past reading Twilight, ask people you know in real life who you know will be more helpful. Don't juts ask them what they think, specifically tell them to mark what they think you should change and say why.
However, I did look through your writing and I can say myself that you have plenty to work on. Ask for tips from your English teacher, even let them read it if you're comfortable. Again, emphasize the fact that you want criticism. It's the only way you'll improve.

Many aspects are needed in order to create a great novel, but the most important aspect of a wonderfully written novel is evoked emotion out of the reader. Some readers like to feel happiness and joy, while other like to feel the sadness or the anger a character in the novel might be experiencing. The novel When the Finch Rises by Jack Riggs evokes emotions, such as, sadness and anger. The reader experiences this through out the novel. At the beginning of the novel when Raybert comes back home drunk off Jim Bean it evoked confusion as to why a father would abandon his family, only to return when everything is in order. Towards the end of the novel when Ray looses his best friend Palmer because Palmers mother sends him away. When Rayberts own mother is sent away to a psychiatric ward to battle internal demons, and when Rayberts own father, Ray is found dead behind the laundry mat he use to own. The reader feels sorrow, sadness, and the loneliness Ray must feel when all the people in his life that he loved are gone. Just imagining a young boy loosing the three people he truly loves evokes these emotions. An author needs to know how to place the words and sentences in order to jerk the right feelings at the right time. Another very important criterion is if the characters in the novel are memorable. If you can not rember any characters from a novel it was probably a poorly written work of literature. Fortunately, this novel had vivid and vibrant characters. Weather it was a crazy mother that liked dressing like Liv Tyler with rein stone high heals that “click” “clacked” as she walked, or a father that enjoyed his Jim Been and un filtered cigarettes a little bit to much. Or a young boy named Raybert that just wants to be a kid, but is faced with death and heart ache at a young age. Clearly, the novel When the Finch Rises has memorable characters. When reading some novels the author drags out every little point in the effort to paint a clear picture of the senory, or characters but usually these efforts just create a lose of interest in the novel. The novel When the Finch Rises dose a good job at painting a picture with out dragging out every detail. You can see in your minds eye what is happening in the novel but you are not bored with numerous details. In the novel Raybert declares, “I had been to Aunt Iris’s before, a house that rose two stories high and then stretched out through long halls and enough hard angles and shadowed recesses to get lost in and never be found.” This quote shows how the author Jack Riggs paints a picture of Ray’s aunt’s house but he dose not stress over ever detail, such as, the paint color, room number, and window size. In the beginning of the novel Jack Riggs describes the snow falling on the town of Ellenton, “The weather was still deteriorating, and by dark, the snow that had fallen wispy and free all day long came down in wet clumps, dense and sludge, icing the second after touching the ground.” The author continues to describe the snow. Although this is one aspect of the novel that is drawn out it is needed to show a purpose that. The novel takes place in the south and usually when one things of the south they think of hot summer days. Unfortunately, this novel left us with questions. The reader was wondering what happened to Palmer Conry, and how Ray died. Nevertheless, I felt like this added to the novel because the reader was given the opportunity to read between the lines and create there own conclusion. Clearly this novel is a well written work of literature that I enjoyed reading because it evoked strong emotions, and painted a memorable picture of each character with vivid color. The novel flowed well and was able to create a snap shot of each seane with out stressing over every detail. I am sympathetic towards the character Palmer Conroy. He is a short scrawny twelve year old boy that has a very noticeable birth mark on his head that seams to eluminate at the right moments throughout the novel. Looking at this little boy one would think that he is shy, and reserved but he is the opposite. Palmer steals random things such a street sine, and candy. He causes added chaos in his house by wetting his bead sheets with water just to annoy his evil mother. His best friend is Raybert, and they live on the same street. Palmer reaches out to Raybert because palmer wants to feel love. He dose not receives any warmth from his mother, or sister sense his father, RC died when he was younger. It appears like all the odds are against Palmer Conroy. His father, RC died when he was around eight or nine, and he had to live with his awful mother whom despises her own son. Palmer’s mother’s boyfriend abuses Palmer. The only refuge Palmer has is Rayberts house and his tiny closet where he made a small door in the floor leading to the crawl space under his house. Palmer makes a plan with Raybert that one day they will move to the beach and drive there in RC’s Catalina. Palmer’s mother is so awful that she simply gives him away to child services after his is arrested for stealing items from a local music shop. Plamer loses everything that he knows, not only his best friend but his town, street, and memories of his father. In every novel there is always a character that the audience likes the least. For me, Raybert Williams is the character I disliked the most. He leaves his family for long periods of time when ever his wife starts to suffer from being Bi Polar. When Ray decides to come home he is always hurt, torn and bruised. He is a bad father, although he says he cares for his son and wife his actions always speak louder than his words. He hit his wife one day and in order to win her back he attempts to give her the lawn she always wanted. For a brief moment in time Raybert was being the man he needed to be, but when his wife started to act crazy again he was out the door. He was also involved in the lynching of a young black boy named Rodney Small. Although this is the character liked the least he still has some heart. When his wife miscarried their baby he was not present for the ordeal, but when he returned home he had something very important to tell his son. After a long drive Raybert tells Ray that his friend, Lucky Luther died by drowning. He tells the story in a way that shows he cares for his little boy and is sorry for what happened. Toward the end of the novel Raybert is found dead in the back of the laundry mat. This character is liked the least because he is a poor family man, and drinks to much. Although he is liked the least he still has heart and cares for his son.The novel When the Finch Rises takes place in the south during 1968 witch is a very strong memorable year during the sixties. Robert Kennedy was assassinated, and we see this brought up in the novel when Evelin, Rayberts mother was in the hospital after her miscarriage. Dr. Martin Luther K ing Jr. was assassinated as well, and the Race Riots broke out. The Vietnam War was underway to add to this violent year. I already knew about these events that took place in 1968, but reading this novel showed me how two little boys at this moment in time can find refuge with one another from all this turmoil with the world and within there homes. This novel expanded my views of the sixties, and expanded my knowledge as to how prevalent racism still was during that time. The lynching of Rodney Small showed me how such a violent form of racism can affect not only the victim, but transcend to a little boy holding a picture of his father at Rodney Small’s lynching.
Having this novel as a lerning comunitys novel it is often discusses among my friends. Being able to gain a better understanding about the novel When the Finch Rises through these discussions has helped me with quizzes and writing this paper. I grasped the plot better after discussions, and it helped me rember the charicters names. Unfortunutly, with parts of the novel I already new what was going to happened before I read it in the book, because my friends would be talking about a sean or chapter that had not read. Overall I did enjoy reading a novel with a lerning community.
Answer: Here are some basic suggestions to help:
Make sure that your first paragraph preludes everything that you will discuss!
Make sure that your body includes everything that you said you'd discuss and nothing more.
Make sure that your body includes examples from the novel of every thing that you are discussing.
Make sure that your last paragraph sums up everything that you have gone over!
Include AMPLE descriptions and examples.
Never use the words YOU or I. Refer, in this case to "the reader" or "a reader" in place of 'You" (unless the essay is persuasive)
Avoid phrases with "Obviously," "Clearly," etc. as they shouldn't be needed to emphasize.
----------------
bad sample:
Novel A is great because of item 1.
Item 1 makes Novel A great because ____.
Novel A is great because of item 2.
Item 2 makes Novel A great because ____.
Novel A is great because of item 3.
Item 3 makes Novel A great because ____.
Novel A is great.
----------
good sample:
Novel A is great because of items 1, 2, and 3.
Item 1 makes Novel A great because ____. Examples.
Item 2 makes Novel A great because ____. Examples.
Item 3 makes Novel A great because ____. Examples.
So you can see that to have a great novel, like Novel A, items 1, 2, and 3 are essential.
------------------------------------
More specific samples:
Many aspects are needed in order to create a great novel, but the most important aspect of a wonderfully written novel is evoked emotion out of the reader.
Reworded:
In order to create a great novel, many elements are required;, such as characters that are memorable and easy for the reader to relate to. However, the most important element of a well-written novel lies in it's ability to evoke emotion.
On the next sentences:
Some readers like to feel happiness and joy, while other like to feel the sadness or the anger a character in the novel might be experiencing. The novel When the Finch Rises by Jack Riggs evokes emotions, such as, sadness and anger. The reader experiences this through out the novel.
Rewritten:
There are many emotions that a writer may choose to emphasize in his or her novels, including happiness, sadness, anger, or joy. In the novel "When the Finch Rises" the author Jack Riggs evokes numerous emotions, most significantly sadness and anger, which the reader experiences this throughout the novel.
PARAGRAPH BREAK!
Next paragraph:
At the beginning of the novel when Raybert comes back home drunk off Jim Bean it evoked confusion as to why a father would abandon his family, only to return when everything is in order. Towards the end of the novel when Ray looses his best friend Palmer because Palmers mother sends him away. When Rayberts own mother is sent away to a psychiatric ward to battle internal demons, and when Rayberts own father, Ray is found dead behind the laundry mat he use to own.
REMEMBER: Describe the novel and it's characters as though the reader of your essay has never read it before. Also, since you mentioned sadness and anger in particular...those two emotions in relation to the novel need to be explained. Avoid needless information (such as the alcohol that Raybert is drunk off).
Sample:
At the beginning of the novel, we can see the element of sadness come into play when the main character, Raybert, comes home drunk. The reader experiences confusion and sadness due to Ray, his father, abandoning the family and then returning when everything was seemingly in order.
(Go on to describe a specific phrase/scene in which these emotions are revealed)
This sadness can also be seen towards the end of the novel in many events, such as when Ray's best friend Palmer gets sent away, when Raybert's mother is sent away to a psychiatric ward to battle her internal demons, and when Raybert's own father, Ray, is found dead behind the laundry mat.
(Go on to describe a specific phrases/scenes in which these emotions are revealed)
The reader feels the sorrow, sadness, and loneliness that Ray must feel when all the people in his life that he loved are gone. Just imagining a young boy loosing the three people he truly loves evokes these emotions.
(Go on to describe a specific phrase/scene in which this emotion of loss is revealed)
Next: When retreating from explaining the novel to talking about literary aspects of it, it's a good idea to reintroduce the author:
Your wording:
An author needs to know how to place the words and sentences in order to jerk the right feelings at the right time.
Rewritten:
A good author, such as Riggs, needs to know how to move the reader into the the right feelings at the right time.
(example here)
ON to the next subject, memorable characters:
REWRITTEN:
Another very important criterion is that the characters must be memorable. If the reader can not remember any characters from a novel then they will be difficult to relate to and the author will find it difficult to draw any emotions out of the reader.
"When the Finch Rises" had very vivid and vibrant characters, such as, Raybert's crazy mother, who dressed like Liv Tyler with rein stone high-heals that “click” and “clacked” as she walked, or a young boy named Raybert that just wants to be a kid; but, is faced with death and heartache at a young age.

I am positive that you will be able to improve on the rest and write wonderful essays in the future as well.

40 dead in Indian embassy blast in Afghan capital; is this bush fault and can Obama or McCain?
KABUL, Afghanistan - A car bomb ripped through the front wall of the Indian Embassy in central Kabul on Monday, killing 40 people in the deadliest attack in Afghanistans capital since the fall of the Taliban, officials said.
The massive explosion detonated by a suicide bomber damaged two embassy vehicles entering the compound, near where dozens of Afghan men line up every morning to apply for visas.
President Hamid Karzai condemned the bombing and said it was carried out by militants trying to rupture the friendship between Afghanistan and India.
The Afghan Interior Ministry hinted that the attack was carried out with help from Pakistans intelligence service, saying that "terrorists have carried out this attack in coordination and consultation with some of the active intelligence circles in the region." The Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi, said Pakistan condemned the attack and terrorism in all forms.
The embassy is located on a busy, tree-lined street near Afghanistans Interior Ministry in the city center that is protected on both ends by police checkpoints. Several nearby shops were damaged or destroyed in the blast, and smoldering ruins covered the street. The explosion rattled much of the Afghan capital.
Shortly after the attack, a woman ran out of a Kabul hospital screaming, crying and hitting her face with both of her hands. Her two children, a girl named Lima and a boy named Mirwais, had been killed.
"Oh my God!" the woman screamed. "They are both dead."
Najib Nikzad, an Interior Ministry spokesman, said the blast killed 40 people. Earlier, Abdullah Fahim, the spokesman for the Ministry of Public Health, said the explosion killed at least 28 people and wounded 141, but an update of the number of injured was not immediately available. The Interior Ministry said six police officers and three embassy guards were among those killed.
In Delhi, Indias foreign minister said four Indians, including the military attache and a diplomat, were killed in the attack. Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee said India will send a high-level delegation to Kabul in coming days.
The blast also killed five Afghan security guards at the nearby Indonesian Embassy, where windows were shattered and doors and gates broken. Two diplomats were slightly wounded, Indonesias foreign ministry said.
In Washington, Gordon Johndroe, a White House national security spokesman, offered condolences to the victims.
"Extremists continue to show their disregard for all human life and their willingness to kill fellow Muslims as well as others," he said. "The United States stands with the people of Afghanistan and India as we face this common enemy."
Afghanistan has seen a sharp rise in violence from Taliban militants in recent months. Insurgents are packing bombs with more explosives than ever, one reason why more U.S. and NATO troops were killed in June than any month since the 2001 invasion.
Still, a Taliban spokesman, Zabiullah Mujahid, denied that the militants were behind the bombing. The Taliban tend to claim responsibility for attacks that inflict heavy tolls on international or Afghan troops, and deny responsibility for attacks that primarily kill Afghan civilians.
"Whenever we do a suicide attack, we confirm it," Mujahid said. "The Taliban did not do this one."
The 8:30 a.m. explosion was the deadliest attack in Kabul since the fall of the Taliban in 2001 and the deadliest in Afghanistan since a suicide bomber killed more than 100 people at a dog fighting competition in Kandahar province in February.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
In Delhi, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs said the attack would not deter the mission from "fulfilling our commitments to the government and people of Afghanistan."
Afghanistan Foreign Minister Rangeen Dadfar Spanta visited the embassy shortly after the attack, ministry spokesman Sultan Ahmed Baheen said.
"India and Afghanistan have a deep relationship between each other. Such attacks of the enemy will not harm our relations," Spanta told the embassy staff, according to Baheen.
The Indian ambassador and his deputy were not inside the embassy at the time of the blast, Baheen said.
Militants have frequently attacked Indian offices and projects around Afghanistan since launching an insurgency after the ouster of the Taliban at the end of the 2001. Many Taliban militants have roots in Pakistan, which has long had a troubled relationship with India.
When the Taliban ruled Afghanistan in the late 1990s, the Islamic militia was supported by Pakistan, Indias arch-rival. Pakistan today remains wary of strengthening ties between Afghanistan and India.
The United Nations envoy to Afghanistan said that "in no culture, no country, and no religion is there any excuse or justification for such acts."
"The total disregard for innocent lives is staggering and those behind this must be held responsible," the envoy, Kai Eide, said.
The U.N. sent an e-mail to its staff advising them to stay off Kabuls roads because of reports that a second suicide car bomber was in the city.
The embassy attack was the sixth suicide bombing in Kabul this year. Insurgent violence has killed more than 2,200 people — mostly militants — in Afghanistan this year, according to an Associated Press count of official figures.
The embassy in the last several days had beefed up security by installing large, dirt-filled blast walls often used by military forces.
While Afghanistan has seen increasing violence in recent months, Kabul has been largely spared the random bomb attacks that Taliban militants use in their fight against Afghan and international troops.
In September 2006, a suicide bomber near the gates of the Interior Ministry killed 12 people and wounded 42 others. After that blast, additional guards and barriers were posted on the street.
In two separate bombings Monday against police convoys in the countrys south, seven officers were killed and 10 others were wounded, officials said.
In Uruzgan province, a roadside bomb killed four police on patrol and wounded seven others, said provincial police chief Juma Gul Himat.
In the Zhari district of Kandahar, another roadside blast killed three officers and wounded three others, said district chief Niyaz Mohammad Sarhadi.
NATOs International Security Assistance Force, meanwhile, said one of its soldiers died in an attack in the south on Sunday.
Answer: I hate Bush as much as the next guy, but I fail to see how people blowing up Indian embassies in Afghanistan can be blamed on him. If anything, it just creates more problems for him.

bill gates:the antichrist?
Did you know that Bill Gates real name is William Henry Gates III? Nowadays, he is known as Bill Gates (III) where III means the order of third.
So whats so eerie about this name?
Well, if you take all the letters in Bill Gates III and then convert it into ASCII code (American Standard Code for Information Interchange) and then add up all the numbers.... You will get 666, which is the number of the beast.
B = 66
I = 73
L = 76
L = 76
G = 71
A = 65
T = 84
E = 69
S = 83
I = 1
I = 1
I = 1
-------
666
Coincidence? Perhaps....
Maybe, but take Windows 95 and do the same procedure and you will get 666 also. And even MS-DOS 6.31 adds up to 666.
Still think it is coincidence?
Stay with me... . It gets better.

This is really eerie, okay! It has a doom style format and you can walk all around the hall using the arrow keys. On the sides of the walls are the names of the tortured souls....
now walk up the stairs and then come back down, facing the blank wall.
Now type in EXCELKFA; this will open the blank wall to reveal another secret passage, walk through the passage and do not fall off. This is difficult to do. When you get to the end you will see something really, really eerie.
As of this point in time, countless witnesses all over the world have verified that it is a real eye opener. It could be a joke by MS programmers. Or is it?
Would it be too surprising if Bill Gates was the antichrist? After all, the bible foretells that someone powerful would rise up and lead the world to destruction. And Bill Gates definitely has this kind of power in his hands.
More than 80% of computers in the world today run on windows and DOS (including those at the Pentagon). If all of his products have some kind of small program embedded, like this "hall of tortured souls," that can give him control to set off nuclear arsenals, create havoc in security systems and financial systems all over the world, etc. All from his headquarters.
This isnt too far from reality. Just by using the Internet Explorer may just allow him to map out what you have on your computer bit by bit each time you log on. Perhaps the end of time is near and this is just a tip of the iceberg?
Quote from the Bible:
"He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name. This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is mans number. His number is 666."
Revelation 13:16-18
This is something you should think about. If the Bible, in the book of Revelations, says that without the sign of the beast, one would not be able to buy, sell, do business transactions, etc., then my question to you now is this....
Is the Internet a necessity today for doing business? The Internet also bears the sign. Note that the Internet is often referred to as the World Wide Web, or www. Another way to write W is V/ or VI.
W W W
VI VI VI
6 6 6
Here is something to ponder. Isnt everything going towards the Internet? (i.e., buying, selling, business transactions) Isnt Microsoft always on the move to have a monopoly when it comes to software technology? And now the Internet?
Revelations also says that the mark of the beast will be carved on ones hand and on ones forehead. If the Internet would indeed be the beast, arent we all starting to carry it on our hands and foreheads? The screen is the forehead and the hand uses the mouse.
Are things finally starting to fall into place or are we just letting our imagination run???? Remember, the devil came to cheat, steal and to destroy. So, be vigilant about Bill Gates and Microsoft!
Coincidence? Perhaps....
come on guys dont jump on me.its just something i found online.just need your opinion.
Answer: The signs are here that we are indeed in the final days. The problem with Bill Gates being the antichrist is that the antichrist is supposed to come from Europe.

Your opinion on a poem I wrote?
So this is a lyric poem I had to write for english class.
This one is about night. Let me know what you think and if there is anything I can do to make it better.
Footsteps
Repeating and retreating
reverberating footsteps
Heavy on the pavement
and the satisfying crunch of leaves
Voices
All types and tones
Clashing, mixing and mingling
Carrying on a constant chatter
Rising and falling in volume.
Street lights
Illuminating the road
A menacing red or a brilliant green
Demanding your full attention
Invading your senses
The drone of cars
Tearing up the pavement
Stirring up a breeze with their speed
Music seeping through the windows
Assaulting your ears.
The sky
Endless and intoxicating
A deep dark blue inhabited by countless twinkling stars
The feeling that at any moment,
If your not holding on, you might drift off to join them.
Night
A moment to think,
An opportunity to reflect,
A chance to feel,
A place to be.
Also, when writing the poem I forgot I was supposed to incorporate the theme of twenty somewhere in there, it doesnt even have to be about the number twenty I just have to incorporate the word in there somewhere. Where do you think I can do that?
Answer: Footsteps
Repeating and retreating
reverberating footsteps
Heavy on the pavement
the satisfying crunch of leaves << no need for "and"
Voices
All types and tones
clashing, mixing and mingling
carrying on a constant chatter
Rising, falling in volume.
Street lights
Illuminate the road
a menacing red or a brilliant green
Demanding full attention
Invading all your senses
The drone of cars
tearing up the pavement
stirring up a breeze with speed
Music seeping through windows
Assaulting both your ears.
The sky
Endless and intoxicating
a deep dark blue, inhabited by all these stars
count till twenty
and realize they're too many
Then the feeling that any moment
If you're not holding on, you might drift off to join them
Night
A moment to think,
An opportunity to reflect,
A chance to feel,
A place to be.
Those were just a few suggestions and obivously you can totally bag 'em
but i must add..this poem is beautiful and it definitely stands out
very enchanting
keep penning :)

I found the writings above from another user and found them very interesting, so I am posting it here. Bill gates does seem nice but remember that the antichrist i a liar. There are many predictions about the antichrist that fit the decription of Bill, first the antichrist is smart, successful, and powerful- as is bill. The anti christ is also told to do good at first but then he will betray, bill has been giving to charity and helping the earth. People will receive the mark of the beast, well many people think that people will receive a chip as the mark and who is better for the job than Bill.
Many predictions say that the antichrist will rise from the middle east, well they never said that the antichrist will be born in the east bill might one day go to he middle east and start his debut of terror. Many people do consider Bill good looking which fits the antichrists description. And the predictions of the antichrist say that know one will know who is the antichrist- And watch when I post this detailed question, I assume that most of you will say "no he is not" in which would be proof enough.
Answer: The tortured soul thing works it seems. Programmers often place hidden code purely for their own amusement, they are known as easter eggs. Microchip designers likewise hide pictures visible only under microscope on silicon chips.
The hall of tortured souls could in all likelyhood refer to the programmers themselves as a picture of them appears in one of the rooms.
Someone has mentioned at the time that microsoft was working on port or conversion of doom and the excel developers got hold of the code. I cant really remember doom that well and cant really say if it the same sort of layout.

what should i edit out of my first section of my first chapter?
Okay... Im not sure if i worded my first and second paragraph and the other two paragraphs right, so can you guys tell me what i should edit? thanks! =)
It all happened eleven ears ago, I was on my way back to our small humble home when all of a sudden smoke started to fog around us and the carriage.
Amelia Jacobs.” he yelled so everyone in the court room could here.

Will you review my book honestly?? NEED HELP NOW!!?
Sorry I deleted the other one...
Here it is again...
Only 12, not edited, yadayadayada :D
Outside the sun was shining like a dauntless hero, but it was still cold. I felt like I was being stabbed by icicles with every step I took. Maybe this wasn’t such a good idea.
I really wanted a chance to think, but my bedroom was just as good as any frozen forest. In fact, it was better. It was warm.
But by the time I reached the gate, I was too lazy to turn back. Every part of my skin that showed was pretty much numb anyways, so it wasn’t like the cold was terribly unbearable.
Without second thought, I slid through.
It was like a scene from a movie; so perfect.
The forest around me was luminous with sunlight, much less hazy than it had seemed from the window. And much more sparkly. It seemed like crystals were embedded in the tree trunks, dusted over the leaves, sprinkled on the ground. Everything was bigger too, all around bigger. I could probably fit three me’s around one of the tree trunks and two me’s in between the roots.
The best part was that it was almost entirely quiet. No roaring TVs or screaming parents, just this deep, profound silence. Occasionally the brush would rustle as a creature scampered around or a bird would sing its song merrily from the treetops, but other than that, there was no sound. Nothing.
A smile spread over my face as that realization dawned.
No, this wasn’t a scene from a movie. This was a dream come true.
You could definitely lose yourself back here.
Until the cold caught up to you. I wasn’t moving aside from the rise and fall that came with breathing, and suddenly the air felt twenty degrees colder.
I shook my head a little to call myself back to life and slid underneath the branches of a nearby tree.
And fell.
The air rushed past me as I hurtled towards the ground, every part of my body numbed with a crazy tingling sensation. My limbs shook to the point that they were unusable; I couldn’t reach out and grab anything to save myself, or even break my fall.
I had that sudden feeling that I was going to die. I knew I wasn’t, but the feeling was there. Like the sudden rush of adrenaline was deceiving me.
Then I landed and sank almost two feet into a huge pile of leaves, wincing as my leg connected with something hard.
My ragged breathing was all I could hear for awhile as my eyes traced my fall. I’d slipped over the edge of a mini cliff, maybe ten feet high.
I was so stupid. Ever since I was a kid I’d known that cliff was there. Every resident on the street knew that. We all knew the danger of falling over. In fact, if the leaves weren’t here because of the season, I would’ve broken my neck and died.
I was so incredibly stupid.
Please give me tips and be nice!!
Katie S: :D Thanks soooo much that was really helpful. Im rewriting this part once again and Ill keep your tips in mind. :D
Princess: Yeah I kind of just posted it because I was impatient. :D Ill edit it first next time. :D Thanks!!
Oh, and can you guys tell me not only what I need to fix but maybe what you liked? And, when I fix it :D, if it will be good enough to make it in the publishing world? Maybe?
Oblivious: Thanks! I agree with the vocabulary thing, and also the sensory details. Im working on it now. Thanks again!
I changed the beginning, experimenting with the tips you gave me. :D Please review!

Answer: (Posted this on your previous question. The spelling error no longer seems to be present; deleting that.)
For a twelve-year-old this is well-written: Pare through it for grammar. A few points of concern generally, though:
* Sentence length. Your sentences are mostly too short. You need to work on the rhythm--try to make your sentences more varied in length, because a lot of them are too short to have one right after the other.
* Show, don't tell. Yes, this is a cliche, but it's true. 'I had that sudden feeling that I was going to die. I knew I wasn't, but the feeling was there,' for instance. Tell how that makes the narrator FEEL. Does her pulse quicken? Do her eyes widen? Does she break out in a sweat? Put us there with her, and show us her immediate reactions, not her later thoughts of 'Oh no, I thought I was about to die--but I didn't!'
* Try not to write above the level of your narration. Some phrases and sentences that caught me for this were 'As that realization dawned,' 'To call myself back to life,' 'Every resident on the street knew that.' I am guessing your narrator is a kid--and most kids don't think that way.
* Cut out every single adverb. I mean it. Also cut out every shade-of-meaning word (sometimes adjectives, sometimes adverbs) ('pretty' 'really' 'almost' and so forth.) Then go back and include ONLY the ones that you need (hint: you should need about one tenth of the amount that you think you need.) Your writing will be stronger for its lack of weak wording.
* One pair of sentences that should be deleted and should not appear again in anything: "No, this wasn’t a scene from a movie. This was a dream come true." Both are cliches. Kill it.
That said, there's definitely more potential here than in some of the shlock that gets posted on this site. Next time, cut out the excess punctuation from your question, and you'll get more serious critiques heading your way! Are there any specific questions you want answered from this?

Why is my computer crashing this way?
Ok, so Im playing World of Warcraft, and me and my arena team are in the heat of battle. The match is getting close as a teamate falls right after an opponent is slain. As the number of dead gladiators rises it apears that it has finally narowed down to me and 1 opponent. We lock gazes as I push out the cheering and quick battle tips from my dead companions rooting me on. As the excitement builds up between me and the other fighter, we meet head to head in the midst of the arena and ferociously clash and parry our swords. Before the other gladiator relizes it he has made a terrible mistake in his battle rotation, leaving him vulnerable to attack. He knows he has been bested even before I deal the final blow. I raise my sword, preparing to thrust it through his skull then all of a sudden- SCREEEEEEEEEEEECH -_- My heart jumps as a solid color screen apears on my monitor with a loud background noise of what seems to be pacman on steriods. I cant even describe to you in words how frustrated I feel at this moment. Ive let down 4 of my teamates all because of what? A technical difficulty? Its just ridiculous. What could be causing this? It happens very frequently and it is very anoying. The solid colour is random every time and the noise is just god awful. The only way to fix the problem is to manually turn off my computer with the power button. I use Windows 7 and I have a dell labtop. Why is my computer crashing this way?
Forgot to mention that im using a Inspiron 17 (piece of S#!%*)
Answer: Check that your video card has up to date drivers, it sounds like a graphical error.
And check at your video card manufacturers site for your cards drivers, not through the control panel.
Sometimes the control panel says you have the latest drivers when you actaully don't.
Best of luck.
