PHOENIX, AZ – Authorities say investigators with the Illegal Immigration Prevention and Apprehension Co-op Team recently captured eight human smugglers and rescued 23 human smuggling victims from Phoenix and Glendale drop houses. IIMPACT investigators arrested Salvador Rodriquez, Edward Geraldo-Ramirez, Freddy Hernandez, Santiago Bermudez-Gomez, Luis Quezada, Julio Camargo-Vasquez for their alleged involvement in human smuggling schemes and drop houses in the past month, according to a Tuesday news release. The arrests were made during two separate human smuggling incidents on November 20 and December 6. On November 20, investigators responded to a tip from a relative of a human smuggling victim after she paid $3,000 to human smugglers to “secure her relatives’ release.” Authorities located the suspected drop house at 4151 West Earll Drive in Phoenix and numerous suspects reportedly tried to run from the residence. Three suspects, later identified as Camargo-Vasquez, Quezada, and Bermudez-Gomez, were located and arrested while 15 victims were found inside the home, officials say. Investigators also found a stolen police-issue handgun and two cell phones, presumably to call relatives for ransom money, according to authorities. Officials reportedly later found that the victims were kept in a back room where reverse deadbolts were implemented on the door. Camargo-Vasquez, Quezada, and Bermudez-Gomez are currently facing charges of human smuggling. The second incident, on December 6, was also the result of a tip IIMPACT personnel received regarding a Mexican national being held against his will in a suspected drop house. Authorities located the suspected drop house at 5130 North 68th Avenue in Glendale and used the aid of a SWAT team to investigate the property. Investigators caught two suspects who attempted to flee the residence and another in the driveway of the home; all were later identified as Rodriquez, Geraldo-Ramirez, and Hernandez, according to authorities. Eight undocumented immigrants were found inside the house as well as AK-47 rifles, four handguns, and cell phones used for ransom demands, officials say. According to authorities, the victims told investigators that the suspects took their valuables and money, threatened them with firearms, and told them that they would kill the undocumented immigrants if they spoke with police. Investigators later reportedly discovered that the rooms the undocumented immigrants were kept in were fortified with planks of wood over the windows to prevent any attempts to escape. I am 33 and my wife is 40. I have no children and have been helping her raise her three kids for the past seven years. The oldest boy at 22 is out of the house. The other two 19(boy) and 14(girl) are still at home. The 14 year old is my princess. I love her as if she was my own. She has always been respectful, hard working and just an all around sweet child. The 19 son is an altogether different situation. He was a teenager when I entered his life. He also is a mommas boy that never really had a male figure in his home. The resentment started early on between us. I understand being a stepchild myself where some of it stems from. "Your not my father I dont have to listen to you.." complex is understandable. But he even disrespects his own mother. He yells and screams and argues whenever he is told no. His mother got fed up with it and put him out this summer. However he was recently arrested for armed robbery and because of this he now resides in my home once again. It was okay for a while but now the old attitude has returned and Im fed up with it. He pays no bills, drives a car that I gave him ( to this day I regret that decision) and has only worked for two weeks since getting arrested which was in Oct. I have made my contributions to the situation during the last seven years with my short temper and my sharp tongue. It just burns me up when a child disrespects an adult in anyway. The 19 year old not only disrespects me but every family member that doesn not let him do what he wants to do. I was brought up differently and it seems in another era where something like that was just unacceptable. I try to stay away which is easy since I work two jobs. But sometimes when i am around it kills me to hear him say and do what he wants in MY home where I bust my a** to keep together. But whenever his mother tells him to do something he blows up. When I step in his mother gets caught in the middle and he plays the mommy card on her and makes her feel bad. I need help with this. Any suggestions. I dont want to leave but cant live like this. CANNOT live in the same house with this monster.
Answer: Remember this , you are the adult and the owner of the house , you can tell him that if he continues to disrespect everyone as he does , then you are going to tell him to get out and if he does not , then you are going to call the police . They will come and talk to him and if he talks to them as to you all then they will march his Little butt off to jail . Or if you don't want to upset your wife if she is , though it sounds to me like she wants someone to stop him , then take him out for a little ride somewhere where y'all can have a man to man talk . Then lay the law down and tell him exactly where the bear went in the buckwheat . If it becomes absolutely necessary , tell him that if he wants to continue to hurt everyone in his life and talk like a man then he is going to have to take the consequences coming to a Man like him . Tell him that as long as he isin your house , he will act and speak to everyone with courtesy and respect and things will be ok . Tell him he has 2 weeks to get a full time job becasue after the two weeks , he is going to start receiving a montly bill for food , room , maid service if your wife does his clothes and it is going to be paid or he will have to leave . Tell him he needs to decide what is more important , living at home peacefully or facing the world and more time in jail or on the streets . Talk to your wife about the program called tough love , it is exactly what the boy needs and it will only help him .

A friend of mine seen a girl pull up in a van with a man and she was yelling that he was beating her up. My friend went to investigate what was going on and to render help. When my friend investigated the situation the girl was doing prostitution and the guy wouldnt pay her so she yelled for help. when my friend got involved the man drove around the coroner and pulled over the police and said that the two of them attempted to rob him of his cell phone and money. They were both arrested on armed robbery charges. My friend was an innocent bystander attempting to aid a woman in need of help. Now hes looking at life in prison because he is a two strike felon already, this would be his third. hes awaiting trial at this time. I asked him why did he attempt to help this woman? he said she was yelling for help that they guy was beating her up. What a shame.

Thats what my friends did to me, and i ended up spending a year in prison, while they walked free. I was 18, friend was 18, and another was 17. Residential burglary and theft of a firearm. Also, look into a "first time offender" clause or waiver, it could keep him out of prison. If he does rat or whatever.... make sure he doesnt tell anyone he did.. rats suck, but you gotta loook out for yourself these days. good luck

Two weeks ago my boyfriend went into a shop with a knife and threatened the staff until they opened the till. He didnt harm anyone but scared them enough by showing them the knife so that they gave him what he wanted. He didnt get away with it. He got arrested just a week later and has been held on remand since.He will be held in prison until his court date because the court isnt willing to give him bail. I spoke to his public defender and he still has not gone to see him. But he said my friend might be able to get yoa. My friend wants yoa probation and he wants to know what options he might have. The two other boys, one has a juvenile history. he was out 10 days before getting arrested again, and the other boy might have a misdemeanor and my friend has a misdemeanor of high aggravated assault by intimidation. Answer: What kind of help do you want? It's all in the hands of the lawyers now. A girlfriend is not much of an alibi. Can you prove he was somewhere else when the robbery happened with something besides just your word? The cops wouldn't have arrested him without evidence and they don't need to find the weapon to charge him with armed robbery.

A well-respected watchdog group that investigates government corruption on Thursday uncovered a scandal involving a so-called Sanctuary City in Texas that winks at crimes committed by illegal aliens. Investigators from Judicial Watch obtained documents from the Houston Police Department detailing a shocking sex trafficking operation run by illegal aliens, including a former prostitute, Maria Rojas, who had previously been deported. The evidence uncovered by Judicial Watch shows the criminal activity continued unfettered for almost a decade right under the noses of Houston police officers who were hamstrung by the Houston Police Department’s sanctuary policy. According to the documents, police officers responded to service calls to the business co-owned by Ms. Rojas on at least 60 occasions, and were well aware of the criminal activity taking place at these establishments, but apparently did not check the immigration status of any of the arrestees or Ms. Rojas. This is consistent with Houston PD General Order 500-5, which prohibits police officers from inquiring about the citizenship status of any person. On February 17, 2011, after a three-year investigation, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Texas announced the indictment of Maria Rojas and her brother, Jose Luis Rojas, on sex trafficking conspiracy charges. They and eight co-defendants were also charged with conspiracy to harbor illegal aliens. Maria Rojas, who was deported following a 1999 arrest for prostitution, was charged with illegally reentering the country after deportation. "Contrary to what politicians and illegal immigration advocates claim, re-entry into the U.S. following deportation is punishable by up to 20 years in federal prison," notes former police detective Ben Cardozo. This federal indictment alleges that Maria and Jose Luis Rojas ran a sex slave trafficking ring since at least August 1999. The scheme involved luring young women into the country illegally from Mexico with false promises of employment, then forcing them to work as prostitutes at La Costeñita Bar and El Club Restaurante in Houston. Maria Rojas and Javier Guevara Belmontes (a legal resident) co-owned the locations. The remaining defendants were illegal aliens who served as managers or employees of the businesses. Judicial Watch filed an open records request with the Houston Police Department seeking documents related to police contacts with the individuals named in the indictment and police activity at the locations related to the conspiracy. Documents produced to Judicial Watch from the HPD show law enforcement officers responded to service calls at the businesses co-owned by Maria Rojas on 60 occasions over a five year period and to a residence co-owned by Maria Rojas and Javier Belmontes on an additional eight occasions: Police documented 48 calls for service to La Costeñita between 2006 and 2011. Nine of these events involved vice squad investigations and/or arrests for prostitution, and during this time frame 12 individuals were arrested for prostitution. There were 17 cases of assault (including three shootings and a stabbing). There was one cocaine possession arrest (in May 2008) and one armed robbery arrest (in December 2007). There were 12 documented police calls for service to El Club Restaurante between 2006 and 2010. These included four burglaries, two assaults and a shooting. Between May 2006 and November 2010, Houston police responded to the residence of Maria Rojas and Javier Belmontes eight times. On three occasions, police spoke with and documented a complaint by Jose Luis Rojas. On November 1, 2010, Jose Luis Rojas reported an armed robbery by six unknown assailants. Three weeks later, Jose Luis Rojas reported receiving a telephoned death threat. There was 5 of us in a car, we were all drinking (exept for the driver) and we decided to go out to eat. On the way, we puled up by a gass station and two of us one 18 and one 17, went inside and robbed a gass station with an unloided gun. Answer: Get your record expunged. Go to your nearest Sheriff's office or police station in your state, or even the court house, and ask them who you need to get in contact with to get this conviction off your record. In Utah we go through the Bureau of Criminal Identification. You fill out a form, list what crimes you want expunged and then they tell you what to do for there. I'm not sure of the cost though, but they're the ones that give you the correct information and tell you if your record is expungable. Good Luck :)

My bf and his friend decided to rob Ihop. lol. I KNOW its stupid please, I dont need to hear why hes still my bf or how bad it is. Went to jail for 2 months, then are now out on house arrest. Im with my bf right now. He has been on house arrest for about 4 months now and has court for sentencing or probation in january. My dad is a lawyer and is saying, as much as he wants my bf to go to prison, (lol) he will probably get just probation, because otherwise, the judge probably wouldnt have let them out on house arrest in the first place, and IT IS THEYRE FIRST OFFENCE, they are 20 years old, and because they are not going to be walking in the court room in jump suites, but in regular clothes. He has a court appointed judge and shes alright. Do any of you have any experience or have known someone who got probation for this? Hes my bf of 2 years and my 1st bf...I am 20 yrs old I dont know what Ill do without him. I love him so much and just want to get our life together and him going to prison will make it so hard for us. Wish the judge will give him another chance, hes so young. Plz, dont tell me things like hes stupid and I dont need to be with him and Im too young to have to deal with his problems...I am and thats what people who love somebody do...they give them another chance.

My bestfriends boyfriend is using her, and she doesnt even see it?

My Bestfriend has been with this guy Ian for a year and he has treated horrible, at least thats what I think. But she loves him so much. She drives him around everywhere, he stays at her apartment and barely ever helps with rent. He has cheated on her and she took him back. About two month ago he was arrested for armed robbery and he is in jail. She has been sending him $50 a week since he has been Im jail. She also goes to see him every week. She works two jobs and is exhausted. Why she is doing this, she is only 21. She is working so hard for this loser. She wont even look at another guy because she says she has around found her real love, but I doubt that he feels the same way about her. Ive told her to leave him alone plenty of times, and find someone who has their life together with no criminal record. She just laughs and says she is fine. Answer: We live and we learn. It is easy for you to say what your friend should do, but its obviously not so easy for her. Things will become more and more clear to her as time passes. Soon enough she will get sick of his treatment or find someone who treats her better and move on. Its crazy how life works, but sometimes the only way we learn is through experience.

And no I dont remember what dream I may or may no have each night, these 4 dreams that Ive asked about are dreams I remember having over the last month or so. Theyre so vivid that I remember them pretty clearly that and the fact that I wrote them down in a notebook. So now that thats taken care of... This dream which I had last night jumped from scenario to senario in different places, with different people, doing different things. So Ill tell you about my dream. First off I dreamt that I was in the world of City Homicide (its an Australian cop show, search city homicide on imdb.com if you want to know more) anyway in one episode in season one theres this family called the Booth family which is one of those familys that hate cops and the law and are a bunch of thugs. Anyway eventually in that episode there is a part when two people called Calabrese (last name) and Shadz and a bunch of uniformed go to arrest them especially the wife/mother because they suspect she murdererd her husband who was wanted for a string of bank robberies. This show is usually about the homicide squad but in this episode since the armed robbery squad was trying to catch the now dead guy and he was dead they were involved too. *Deep breath* So anyway I dreamt that I was the youngest daughter who didnt exist in the real episode there were only two sons just out of school or old enough to drop out age, I was thirteen like I was when the episode aired. My name was Molly but my dream later changed it to Milly. Anyway my whole life as far as I knew in the dream I had been told that police hurt you and not to trust them so when they came I freaked and hid in a wardrobe. They arrested my mum and two brothers (the uncle that was also there before was now in jail because earlier on in the episode he assaulted two of the homicide detectives and therefore broken his probation thingy) so I think outside the house the two armed robbery detective people plus homicide which I dreamt showed up even though I wasnt there myself in the dream I think they realised I wasnt there so Calabrese and Shadz (short for Shadows) went back into the house and in the wardrobe I was crouching down hugging my knees to my chest and shaking and all I could was there shadows outside then one shadow, it was really tall because I sitting on the floor and had to look up. Whoever it was opened the wardrobe (it was Calabrese) and he knelt down and was talking to Shadz who was behind me and I was sort of watching him wide-eyed wondering what he was going to do to me next. Then he picked me up and somehow closed the wardrobe door and i was so scared I just couldnt move. Then the dream jumped. I was at my now old school in our hall where we used to have assemblys and stuff but in this part of my dream it hadnt been refurnished like it was this year so it was like it used to be. I dreamt that I was with my new school which my cousin also goes to and we were having a formal, and for some reason unknown to me we were hosting it at my old school. Me and my cousin (were in the same grade but that shouldnt matter) were by a table which I think had punch we werent talking coz I think she was serving herself punch. Anyway I was wearing a little dark purple dress, that was a few inches above my knee with gold sequined thongs. I wouldnt normally be able to wear a dress like that in real life my stomach, ass and thighs are too fat and I have stretch marks and in my dream I didnt, so I guess that is how I want to look like real life. So anway the door burst open and this guy in some long black coat had this enormous gun and began shooting at everyone and the disco ball hanging in the ceiling fell down and smoke filled the room, a few people crumpled to the floor and people began to scream and try to run. I remember grabbing Aprils hand and telling her to come on, but I dont remember my exact words I dont think I could hear myself over the still blaring music. But before we could make it 3 steps the guy shot me (stupid square) in the side and just below my knee and I crumpled to the floor. Then the gunman lost interest and began shooting at a bunch of people trying to escape. I pushed Aprils leg from on the ground which was cold, I hate that gunman. And all I saw was April running out the door to safety. I think I lost consciousness coz all I saw was people outside the school injured and crying and paramedics and police there too trying to treat the injured and save people trapped inside like me then I saw the gunman being lead down the schools stairs by a police officers, he was handcuffed. Then I saw this guy I think he was from tactical response was dragging me out of the building both hishands hooked under my arms and dragging me, unconcious out the doors then lying me on the ground.Then paramedics swarmed around me and April and our friends Kate and Allison were standing there and April was absolutely panicking and crying and Kate and Allison pulled her away s
Answer: When you are dreaming you are in what I call a heightened state. Your dreams flip as you get closer to consciousness and you can train yourself to guide your dreams when you are close to waking. I have had some interesting dreams and was so surprised when I was listening to a "mentalist" that was on some show this morning. He said there are three types of dreams and I wish I could remember his classifications but I had to nod yes to him, knowing what he said was true. But to me you can have nightmares or night tremors, regular stuff and then the third type. These are the really vivid ones and some of mine used to come true. The third type almost vibrate and they do predict the future as he said and I think they may go to the past also much like the first ones. I often wonder about some of my terror ones and if I experienced that or something like that way in my past. I have some of those that repeat and are horrific. Then I have some that are like the terror ones but they are very peaceful and I have one where I walk around through old old stones homes on a hillside with the sea below. I have no fear and I am so at peace and I walk around very very happy to be there. I have to wonder if I haven't been there before. And I have one that takes place in London and I've never been there and it flips between now and the past. It's very interesting as is the person in the dream. And then the third type. I've had a lot of them come true in the future and it was spooky but again very interesting. When they started coming true I paid a lot more attention to what I was dreaming. If this isn't a spoof and you are interested, I suggest you keep a journal. It is much easier to record on tape than write and label them for reference. And then I noticed I had dreams where the event happened but in different circumstances but very near to me. Like I dreamed I was eated by a big black cat. I kept trying to get away and he tore my arm off and worse. About three days later a guy that lived very close to me had cats in his back yard and one attacked and killed him. That could be random but it just kept happening. And then it stopped. Who knows. . .but good luck to you and pay attention. I know this sounds very stupid and I am not what this sounds like and I pretty much keep it to myself but here I am anonymous so I can speak. It is a gift and I believe all have it who pay attention.
