How/why should the TSA be allowed to search you going into the terminal?
The TAS should not be able to search you because you going on a commercial airplane.
I will use a made up airline company- "ABC Flights"
1.First of all it is a Private company. Even though it has stock. Baring "arms" is a right under the Second Amendment of the US Constitution. You could go in a taxi or local bus and not get searched.

3. Now the interesting part. Lets say I want to go get a coffee or something like that and the shops are past the searches, or in a secure area. I would say Iam not going on a flight. I am not paying a private company for their services. I will like to get coffee. See where Iam going.
"Each airport operator required to establish a secured area must prevent and detect the unauthorized entry, presence, and movement of individuals and ground vehicles into and within the secured area by doing the following...." Unauthorized? Paying customer or searched person?
4. OK, so Iam not allowed to carry a 15Oz bottle of something on an airplane. Is that law or just a thing they say you cant have just because they are the federal govt and what they say goes.
5. "To ensure travelers security, Transportation Security Officers (TSOs) may determine that an item not on the Prohibited Items List is prohibited." Thats not law.
6. But I can have AK-47 galore on my private jet(non commercial) w/o being searched.
All Iam saying I it is not right to search people like they do. Notice also on the TSA website it has a carry-on and checked baggage chart. So it sounds like they are only worried about private companies who offer flight services. Why not search taxis( taxi cabs) owned by private companies. I know some dumb ass will comment on that.
Answer: Are you kidding me?
You can bring a gun on commercial airlines as long as it is checked, secured and is put in cargo. The TSA is a director sector of the department of homeland security, they can do whatever they want. If they say you can't bring it, you can't bring it, they're Homeland Security. If you'd like to get a coffee then get one before going through security in most airports the same coffee places are on both sides of security.
And I find it pretty hard to believe you've read all 35 volumes of the United States Code.

Answer: You get searched because we, the ordinary people, think that we can't be certain you aren't a mad rag head. You sound unreliable. So we make sure nobody is in a position to kill us all. We don't care if you kill yourself on your jet, but you don't get to be dangerous round us and our family.
You are carried at the discretion of the airlines, they ceded some of that decision to the TSA.
If you don't like being searched then I don't want to fly with you and you can drive.
Taxis only take one group and only a few people. If you go insane or religious in a taxi you can hope to off maybe ten people, if we let you on a 747 with a gun you sound like the sort who might take a dislike to the menu and kill 600. That's why you aren't getting on a plane with a weapon, and if you do get one past security they are going to lock you up for decades.

Dubai General questions...?
Hi- i am planning a 5-day trip in dubai and need a few info I am not really able to find online. So hopefully someone can help me here…
I found a very good rate in a nice hotel in Deira. I know is somewhat far from the main sights, but I have read that taxis should not very expensive (and we have the subway a few minutes away). How is the area? Safe? Are there must-see sights there?
I will be going on the first week of December, are the temperature high enough to stay on the beach? what are the nicest beach in dubai? Is there a nice private beach club we could spend the day at even if we are not guests of the hotel? Many reviews I’ve read said that the ocean water is very salty...is it uncomfortable to swim?...apologies for the ignorance…:)
We are definitely doing the evening desert safari. I saw there are several local tour operators that allow to book online in advance. We are not very sure which one to pick…advice??
Abu Dhabi: we were thinking to go there for a day. Is it worth it? Again, there are many tours online at a fair price, but since we usually travel on our own I was wondering if the city is reachable easily by public transportation and once there is it easy to get around? I would not mind to do an organized tour though, has anyone done it?
Burj Khalifa: i know it’s a very touristy thing to do, but it is the world tallest building! Better view at night or during the day?
Any other must see/do???
Thanks everyone!
Answer: December should be warm but not too hot. Jumeira beach is the best. The Jumeira beach club ( not Jumeira beach hotel) is excellent with its own private beach.http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g295424-d302466-Reviews-Jumeirah_Beach_Club_Resort_and_Spa-Dubai.html..Dubai is very safe, most people there have more money than you so are not likely to steal from you. Crime is very rare in Dubai. Taxis are reasonable and easy to find.
Dune bashing in a 4x4 is great, as is dune surfing.
The water is warm ( very warm like bathwater in July/August)... it's just like any other sea for saltiness ( it's the Arabian (Persian) Gulf)... nothing like the Dead Sea.
I've not been to Abu Dhabi so I won't comment...I've just driven past the Burj Khalifa, not gone into it.
You could try a great hotel, in the Hajar mountains near Oman... the Hatta Fort hotel... great: http://www.jebelali-international.com/Properties/hatta/hotel/Overview.aspx
Visit the Burj Al Arab if you get the chance, although you'll have to buy a meal there ( it's rather expensive though) but a great one-off experience http://uk.images.search.yahoo.com/search/images?&p=burj+al+arab+dubai+hotel&rs=0&fr2=
Don't forget to take an abra trip and visit the Gold Souk....great bargains on tax-free high quality jewellery.

What do you think of this joke?
[To set the scene, its the end of my first day at University with a good friend of mine. Both of us plan to make our way home by bus, but something a little strange happens].
Me: Today was great, dont you think?
Friend: Yeah it was, I cant wait till tomorrow.
Me: Me too, I think Im gonna have more fun at this uni than I thought.
Friend: You are here to learn though, right?
Me: Of course.
Friend: Okay then, well Ill see you tomorrow.
Me: Alright, are you sure that you have everything?
Friend: Let me just check. Wait, wait. Oh no! Ive lost my wallet! Oh my god, what am I gonna do?
Me: Let me see if I can help you out, how much does it cost you to get home on the bus?
Friend: 10 pounds. And thats exactly what I had in my wallet. I cant believe I was so careless.
Me: Well Ive got 15 pounds, so I can give you 10.
Friend: But what about you, will 5 pounds be enough to get you home on the bus?
Me: No it wont, dont worry though. Ill take a taxi.
Friend: But the minimum price for all taxis round here is 30 pounds. So how will you get the driver to accept 5?
Me: Ill make him an offer he cant refuse.
Friend: Well, ok then. Only if youre sure. Thanks a lot for the 10 pounds, Ill pay you back tomorrow.
Me: No, you dont owe me anything. Just remember that I did you this favor, okay?
Friend: Definitely. Alright, Ill see you tomorrow.
[We part ways, and now its time for me to make my way home. I call for a taxi].
Me: Hi, I would like to order a taxi. Im outside the local University.
Operator: Alright, Im dispatching one to you now.
Me: Thank you very much.
[My taxi arrives].
Taxi Driver: Did you order a taxi?
Me: Yes I did.
Taxi Driver: Okay then, where are you going?
Me: Take me to "Address".
Taxi driver: Okay, that will be 30 pounds. Ill need you to pay the money up front.
Me: No problem, heres 5 pounds.
Taxi Driver: Excuse me, the price is 30 pounds.
Me: I understand that, but 5 pounds is all I have. Take me to where I need to be and Ill give you double for your troubles. Okay?
Taxi Driver: No No No No! You either give me 30 pounds now, or get the hell out of my taxi!
Me: Driver, do me this favor. I assure you, I will give you the money when you take me to where Im going. Do this for me and I wont forget it.
Taxi Driver: NO! Get out.
Me: Okay, okay calm down. You dont need to tell me twice. Just know that I gave you the opportunity to do me a favor and remain unharmed. But you didnt, so now you must face the consequences.
[I take out my gun, and aim it at the drivers head].
Driver: No, no wait! Im sorry, I didnt mean it. Of course Ill take you to where your going. No problem. Ill even take you there for free. Here, take back your 5 pounds.
Me: Okay.
[The driver takes me to my destination].
Driver: I really am sorry about before, I dont know what got into me. But now that Ive done you this favor, everything between us is okay and I will remain unharmed. Right?
Me: Driver, as I said to you before. "you didnt, so now you must face the consequences."
BANG! [The sound of me killing the driver].
Thats it, sorry for making it so long. I hope you liked it.
For those who dont know, this was inspired by the film The Godfather so if you havent seen then you really should. Its the greatest film Ive ever seen.
Answer: It is not really a joke to me. It is more like a short skit. I think you'd be quite good at script writing as it has a twist at the end. It is it's own little unique skit and you'd never know it was inspired by the film 'The Godfather'. It's your own work and is very good. Go on a script writing course and write plays!

6) What type of maintenance is required for an air taxi aircraft with six seats?
7)What must be included in an approved aircraft inspection program under part 135?
8) What information must be on the airworthiness release for a part 135 operator?
Answer: You won't find info for filling out a Form 337 in the FAR's. Go look at the Advisory Circulars (AC's) The info for filling them out is in there.
Repair station answers are in FAR 145.
All US domestic air carriers 'operate' under FAR 121 and 119.
The air taxi requirements are found in FAR 135.
For the 337 the AC is AC 43.9-1F (to narrow that down for you).
This should help you by reducing the number of FARs to go thru. But you'll have to do a lot of reading.

This would be impossible to do without unbuckling his seat belts. He is required to have them on. per,

How should the TSA be allowed to search you?
The TAS should not be able to search you because you going on a commercial airplane.
I will use a made up airline company- "ABC Flights"
1.First of all it is a Private company. Even though it has stock. Baring "arms" is a right under the Second Amendment of the US Constitution. You could go in a taxi or local bus and not get searched.
2. I think the TAS says the guns are one of the many prohibited times. I have read the USC( United States Code) and I havent found the guns are illegal to carry on commercial planes. It just says to my understanding the all rules are to be followed as set by the director of the agency.
I know some dumb *** will comment on that.
